The Valley of In-Between is an immersive installation exploring the journey of transition through a storybook lens. Folktales have been ingrained in me since childhood; fairies living in the garden and unicorns running the hillside were welcome stories of make-believe. As I grew older I didn’t lose this childlike sense of wonder, instead I held onto it as I transitioned into the unknown of adulthood. The exhibition highlights the vulnerability, uncertainty, and excitement that accompanies change.

Transition through the portal to enter the magical space, experience the journey of change and growth. The buzzing energy of painted bunnies leads you through the space of in-between to explore a wondrously odd yet familiar otherworldly. Winding tree stumps litter the ground as burgundy flowers sprout from the old; a garden of remembrance before. Follow the gleaming trail of stars to a new space where seeds have had their chance to grow and find a glimpse of what could be…
